Balasaheb, Uddhav shocked over Mahajan's death

Mumbai, May 4: Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray has expressed deep shock over the demise of BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, who died at the Hinduja hospital last evening after battling for life for 12 days, since he was shot at by his youngest brother Pravin on April 22.

In his message, Mr Thackeray said, ''Shiv Sena-BJP alliance has faced several hurdles with courage and determination. But the demise of Mr Mahajan is a deep shock, which will be remembered forever.'' Sena executive president Udhav Thackeray, in his message, also expressed grief over the BJP leader's death. ''He was an organisational man to the core, who rose his political echelons on the strength of his dedication and hard work.''
