World Press day observed in Manipur

Imphal, May 3 (UNI) World Press Freedom Day was observed today by the Manipur editors forum in Imphal.

Information Minister T N Haokip appealed people to respect freedom of press.

The main theme of the observation was correlation between media freedom and the eradication of poverty.

Editors and journalists working in the state attended the function.
