Two SPOs among five killed by naxals
Bijapur, May 3 (UNI) Naxals have killed five people, including two special police officers (SPOs), for taking part in anti-naxalite 'Salwa Judum' movement in Chhattisgarh's South Bastar Region, police said today.
SPOs Nagesh (22), Premashankar (25) and Salwa Judum leader Madlam Vuchaiyya were stabbed to death yesterday in Dantewada district's Keddi village.
The two SPOs were posted at Gangalur police station and had gone to the village for some work.
In another incident, the extremists stabbed Mudkabanjar Patel to death at his home in Chitanpalli village last night for his involvement in the campaign.
In a separate incident, naxals also gunned down Kattam Mutaiyya last night. The villagers informed the police today.
