Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Travelocity, a US-based online travel booking entity owned by Sabre Holdings Corporation, today announced that a team from Zuji online travel site in Singapore is working in India to establish a India-specific ''travelocity India'' by end of this year.

The Travelocity India site will be built upon the existing tried and tested technology foundations of current Zuji online travel site operating across the Asia Pacific region ranging from Singapore, Korea to Australia. Zuji is a division of Travelocity for online travel booking in the Asia Pacific.

Zuji CEO Scott Blume told reporters today that his company has been working on the technology and other aspects in India for a long time and now it has to launch the India-specific site from the fourth quarter of this year.

Zuji is currently working with a Delhi-based firm EasyRes to set up business relationship with various hotel chains in India.

Initially, the company would focus both outbound and inbound tourists mainly among the internet savvy young indian professionals to meet their travel needs, Mr Blume said.
