The party has lost a capable leader: Kalmadi

Pune, May 3 (UNI) Congress MP Suresh Kalmadi today condoled the death of BJP leader Pramod Mahajan and said that the party has lost a capable leader who rose by his effort and intellect.

''I am sad to hear about his untimely death, he was a friend,'' Mr Kalmadi said in his message.

As the Union Minister for Information Technology, Mr Mahajan worked for Maharashtra, especially Pune. He was an excellent parliamentarian who understood the country's problems.

''I pray that his soul rests in peace,'' he added.
