Sugar prices rises on better buying support
Navi Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Sugar prices rose on better buying support, traders at the sugar market said here today.
The rates of small and medium grades of sugar went up by Rs nine and Rs five per quintal respectively on higher demand.
The rates of ex-mill small and medium grades hiked by Rs 10 and Rs 15 per quintal respectively on lesser stock supply.
Following were the sugar spot rates per quintal: Small grade Rs 1,920/1,960, medium grade Rs 1,970/2,010.
Ex-mill small grade Rs 1,920/1,950 and medium grade Rs 1,965/1,990.
