State funeral to Mahajan tommorrow

Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Former Union minister and BJP Rajya Sabha member Pramod Mahajan, who passed away at the P D Hinduja Hospital here this evening after battling for his life for 12 days after he was shot at and critically injured by his brother Pravin on April 22, will be cremated tommorrow with State honours.

Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat will attend the funeral at the Shivaji Park crematorium, a statement from the Maharashtra government's protocal department.

A represenative from the Rashtrapati Bhawan would also be present for the funeral on behalf of President APJ Abdul Kalam.
