Shopkeeper's body found in garage

Kolkata, May 03 (UNI) Police recovered the body of a shopkeeper from a garage in Baranagar in the northern fringe of the city early today.

Police said 40-year-old Kalicharan Jana used to stay in the garage with his helper who was recruited a month ago.

The young helper, who hailed from Jaipur was, however, missing.

Local people had informed the police on seeing blood coming out of the garage this morning.

Police suspect that the helper might be behind the killing.

They sent the body for post mortem and registered a case with the Baranagar police station. None was arrested.
