Pramod Mahajan's death a personal loss : Nitish

Patna, May 03 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today condoled the death of BJP General Secretary Pramod Mahajan at the Hinduja hospital in Mumbai.

Describing Mr Mahajan's demise as a personal loss, Mr Kumar said that the BJP leader's popularity transgressed all party affiliations and was also appreciated by the opposition parties.

He said Mr Mahajan had a great potential and people had lot of expectations from him. He said a pall of gloom had descended over the entire country following his death.

'' Mr Mahajan's death had created a void in Indian politics and it would be impossible to fill it,'' Mr Kumar remarked.

Mr Kumar is leaving for Mumbai today.

The C M said Mr Mahajan was not only a capable politician but also a very good orator and an efficient manager.

RJD MLA Jagatnarain Singh had also condoled the death of Mr Mahajan.
