Chouhan exercises his franchise

Budhni, MP, May 3 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today exercised franchise at his native Jaith village in the assembly byelection in Sehore's Budhni constituency from where he is pitted in a 16-cornered contest, official sources said.

Mr Chouhan, accompanied by his wife Sadhna, cast his vote through the EVM at the polling booth No 163 at the village's primary school building as soon as polling began at 0800 hrs.

Earlier, he performed worship to 'Narmada Maiya (mother Narmada)' at the banks of river Narmada and paid obeisance at various temples.
