Brett Lee 'Boosts' youngsters at Bangalore camp
Bangalore, May 3 (UNI) It maybe too early for him to take up coaching but Brett Lee, for once, came forward to help the youngsters learn the art of fast bowling at the ''Boost Bowling Clinic'' at the Bishop Cotton Boys School here today.
The Aussie spearhead was bowled over by the passion among the youngsters and said, ''I saw some great talent and passion for cricket among Bangalore folks here at the Boost Bowling Clinic.
I'm glad that Boost has given me the opportunity to interact with cricket aspirants in India.'' ''My tight schedule doesn't allow me to spare too much time on coaching and develop budding talent. However, it was pleasure to share tips on pace bowling with sports enthusiasts,'' he said.
Vijay Yadav, a resident of Brigade Road was visibly overwhelmed after taught finer aspects of fast bowling by the Australia speedster.
''I love playing cricket and Brett Lee is an amazing player. I'm so happy that the camp gave us an opportunity to interact with an international cricket icon,'' he said.
In January 2005, Virender Sehwag inaugurated the Boost Cricket Academy where kids played with him. In November 2005, the consumers of the health drink met Sachin Tendulkar in Mumbai and interacted with him.
