All 3 bullets removed from Mahajan's body

Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) All three bullets were removed from the body of senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pramod Mahajan after a three hour post-mortem in the government-run G T Hospital here tonight.

The bullets were handed over to the police for use in their ongoing investigation in the murder case of the 56-year-old BJP leader.

Pravin had allegedly shot his elder brother thrice on April 22 and had subsequently surrendered to the police.

Mr Mahajan died of the gunshot injuries in the Hinduja Hospital today after battling for 12 days.

Hinduja Hospital Dr Gustad Devar, G T Hospital Superintendent Dr H Yadav, Nagpada Police Hospital Dr S M Patil and J J Hospital Dean Dr Shingare were present at the time of post-mortem.
