Advani abandons yatra, to fly to Mumbai

Jaipur, May 3 : BJP leader L K Advani today abandoned the Bharat Suraksha Yatra mid-way in Rajasthan and decided to head for Mumbai soon in view of party leader Pramod Mahajan's critical condition.

Mr Advani went to Dausa, around 50 km from here, this morning where he addressed a gathering. He will return to Jaipur by helicopter and will fly to Mumbai by a chartered flight at around 1600 hrs.

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia was supposed to fly with Mr Advani to Mumbai initially but now she is expected to go later.
