Hyderabad, May 3, (UNI) The Asian Development Bank (ADB) VIce President Liqun Jin today said the bank was preparing the Country Strategy and Programme (CSP) for 2007-09 which could be an importanant vehicle that enables the bank to interact more closely with the governments.
Participating in 'Country presentation : Azerbaijan', organised as part of 39th ADB governor's meet here, Mr Jin said the CSP would strengthen the ADB's role as a source of knowledge for policy, strategy implementation, innovative project design and sound implementation.
He said the CSP would also allow ADB to coordinate more effectively with other development partners and will be prepared in line strategies with the government's priorities to achieve maximum development impact and deliver tangible measurable results.
Stating that the oil production and oil exports were beginning to increase sharply, Mr Jin said the reserves are expected to deplete over the next 15 to 25 years.
