A minor girl kidnap

Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) A teenaged girl was kidnapped from her residence at MHADA (Maharashtra Housing Area Development Authority) colony, Andheri, yesterday.

The First Information Report (FIR) lodged by victim's father at Varsova police station last evening stated he suspected one Manjya alias Manoj Gauda (24) might have kidnapped his 15-year-old-girl from MHADA colony Andheri at 1000 hrs yesterday.

He further said in his complaint that accused, who was also staying in the same locality, used to visit his house. The accused is also absconding since the incident.

Varsova police has registered a case of kidnapping and further investigations are in progress.
