Sonia to address election rallies in Rae Bareli
Rae Bareli (UP), May 2: AICC president Sonia Gandhi, who is seeking re-election to the Lok Sabha from Rae Bareli, will address as-many-as five public meetings in the constituency tomorrow and on May 4.
UP Congress chief spokesperson A P Singh told UNI here that Ms Gandhi would address one public meeting each in the five assembly segments in Rae Bareli.
Tomorrow, she will address three election meetings in Saraini, Satawan and Sadar Assembly segments. On Thursday, she will address meetings IN Dalmau and Bachrawan before leaving for the national capital.
Her son and Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi has already been campaigning in the constituency since Tuesday where he constantly targeted the ruling Samajwadi Party for ignoring the interests of the people.
On Friday, Ms Gandhi had appointed her daughter, Priyanka Vadra, as her election agent.
While Mr Gandhi would look after campaigning, Ms Vadra would handle the administrative part of the electioneering.
