Advani perturbed over rising Maoist problem in Nepal
Jaipur, May 2 (UNI) Senior BJP leader L K Advani today criticised the UPA government for not handling the increasing insurgency in the country efficiently and expressed concern over the Maoist problem in Nepal.
While addressing the Chaura Rasta meeting here as part of the Bharat Suraksha Yatra, he said: ''The present UPA government at the Centre takes decisions unilaterally without any discussions with the Opposition on security matters which can prove detrimental to the security and sovereignty of the country.'' My Advani's yatra entered Rajasthan tonight and was welcomed with slogan-shouting and cheering by party workers in the BJP-ruled state.
He urged the people to wake up to the issues of security of the country and expressed concern over the increasing terrorist attacks in the country. Perturbed over the the recent killings in Doda in Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Advani said the Hindus in the area have been forced to flee the region.
