Cong demands dismissal of Sugarcane Minister
Patna, Apr 30: Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee today demanded dismissal of Sugarcane Minister Nitish Mishra for occupying office of profit in a mangemement institute.
In his letter to the Governor, the chief spokesman of state Congress Prem Chandra Mishra said Mr Mishra still continued to be Additional Director of L.N.Mishra Institute of Business Management, violating the constitutional provision that debarred any legislator to hold office of the profit.
Mr Mishra alleged that telephone bills of the minister was paid by the institute.
He suggested the minister and his father Dr Jagannath Mishra, former Chief Minister, should wait for the Election Commission's decision in this regard.
