Zenith Infotech Q4 net up 83 per cent

Mumbai, Apr 29: Zenith Infotech Ltd. has posted excellent results for the 4th quarter ended March 31st, 2006. Total income for the quarter increased by 154 per cent and stood at Rs 11.51 crore as compared to Rs 4.53 crore in the corresponding quarter last year while net profit increased by 83 per cent and stood at Rs 4.61 crore as compared to Rs 2.53 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal year.

The annualized earning per share (EPS) of Q4 FY 06 is Rs 15.65.

For the year ended March 31, 2006, the company's total income showed a sharp increase of 60 per cent and stood at Rs 35.50 crore as compared to Rs 22.21 crore in last fiscal year while profit for the year rose by 203 per cent and stood at Rs 10.86 crore as compared to Rs 3.58 crore in previous fiscal year, the release said.

Zenith Infotech growth has come from SAAZ, the company's proprietary infrastructure management software product. This product developed at a cost of over Rs 30 crore is now well accepted by leading customers like Sony, LG, Carnegie Mellon, Star TV, Tata Consultancy Services, Air Sahara, Volta, Thermax, Alstom, Godfrey Phillips, the release added.
