Jet Airways net up by 61 per cent in 4Q

Mumbai, Apr 29: Jet Airways Limited has recorded a net profit jump of 71 per cent to Rs 230 crore during the quarter ended March 31, 2006 while profit before tax was up by 68 per cent at Rs 360 crore.

The Board of the company declared a dividend payment of Rs 6 per share.

The revenue during the quarter improved by 61 per cent to Rs 1970 crore.

For the year 2005-06, the Airline's profit went up by 15 per cent to Rs 450 crore on the revenue earning of Rs 6140 crore.
