Work in high court comes to standstill
Ranchi, Apr 28 (UNI) Work in Jharkhand High Court came to a standstill for about two and a half hours today after an anonymous caller said there was a bomb in the Chief Justice's court.
Registrar General B K Pandit said he had received a phone call at about 1330 hours saying that a bomb was planted in the court number one.
He said the police arrived immediately and sealed the entrance of all the eleven courts and no one was allowed to enter.
A bomb expert was called and sniffer dogs pressed into service to detect the bomb.
After two and a half hours of thorough serching, the Superintendent of Police said no bomb was planted and the court resumed normal functioning.
