V K Shunglu charts work schedule for Narmada rehabilitation

New Delhi, Apr 28 (UNI) The Sardar Sarovar Project Relief oversight group, headed by former Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) V K Shunglu, today held detailed discussions on the rehabilitation issue and charted out the group's work schedule with the office concerned to fulfil the tasks entrusted by the Prime Minister.

The panel comprising Prof G K Chadha and Dr Jai Prakash Narayan, discussed the terms of reference under which the group has to function.

The Committee is hopeful of completing its work within the specified period and expects cooperation from other stakeholders in its functioning, a government release said.

The panel will again meet on May nine.
