Three teenaged boys drown in river

Madikeri, Apr 28 (UNI) Three teenagers, including two brothers drowned in river Cauvery at Valnur Tyagathur near Siddapur.

Police sources said Farook (16), Saju (13) and Fiaz (13) drowned yesterday when the trio, accompanied by two others, ventured into the river for a swim while returning from a Madarasa.

The two others swam safely to the bank. Villagers rushed to the spot and fished out the bodies.
