Special SSB employement drive for youths in border, naxal districts

Lucknow, Apr 28 (UNI) Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Tilak Kak today said that the central force had embarked on a special drive for providing employment to youths in the bordering and naxal infested districts.

Addressing a review meet of the SSB officials during the last phase of his four day trip to the Indo-Nepal border, Mr Kak said that besides performing the seminal duty of effective border management, the central force had also embarked on a special drive to provide productive employment to youths in border and naxal infested districts.

Mr Kak on the effective border management on the Uttar Pradesh districts bordering Nepal, said that SSB needed to be fully alert about anti-India voices in the Himalayan Kingdom, besides ISI activities in the region.

The SSB DG also called upon the force personnel to not only prevent crime along the border, but also infuse the spirit of nationalism among the population of the bordering areas.
