South African team visits DSIDC complex in Bawana
New Delhi, Apr 28 (UNI) A delegation from South Africa visited the Delhi State Industrial Development Corporation (DSIDC) complex in Bawana in North Delhi today.
The delegation was led by Special Advisor (Housing) to the South African government Saths Moodley, a statement said.
The delegation had detailed discussions with Delhi Industries Minister M R Singhal, DSIDC MD Jalaj Srivastava, its Chief Engineer R K Gupta and other senior officials.
Briefing the delegation, Mr Singhal said low cost houses built by DSIDC for Industrial workers under the Rajiv Gandhi Housing Project were one of its kind.
The housing complex at Bawana was an eco-friendly and self contained complex with an area of 23 acre.
The delegations also discussed the technical aspects of low cost housing and also visited the processing unit at Bawana.
