Six policemen hurt in landmine blast
Jagdalpur, Bastar, Apr 28 (UNI) Six police personnel were injured, two seriously, in a landmine blast triggered by Naxalites in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district today, police said.
The policemen were targetted near Bhuchki Nullah on Antagarh- Pakhanjur Road when they reached there on foot to remove the road blockade put up by the naxalites by placing logs.
The seriously wounded were sent to Raipur Medical College and Hospital while others were being treated at Kanker, police said.
The injured included Durgkontal SHO Tulsingh Patawi, CRPF Assistant Commandant Inka Singh, a Sub-Inspector, an ASI and two constables.
