Several special trains during May-June to clear Summer rush

New Delhi, Apr 28 (UNI) The Railways will run several Special trains in the coming two months in order to clear extra rush of passengers during the summer season.

Among them will be a Rajdhani Special Train between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Mumbai Central, a Delhi-Rae Bareilly tri weekly train, New Delhi-Guwahati Summer Special, a Dehradun-Kathgodam special train and a New Delhi-Howrah Superfast Tri Weekly.

The 2953 C Mumbai Central-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Special Train will Depart from Mumbai Central tomorrow at 1530 hrs and will reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 1000 hrs the next day. In the return direction, the 2954 C Hazrat Nizamuddin-Mumbai Central Rajdhani Special Train will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 1450 hrs on May 1 to reach Mumbai Central at 2020 hrs the next day, a Northern Railways release said.

The Rajdhani Special will stop at Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda, Kota, Mathura Jn and Palwal stations enroute in both the directions, the release said.

The New Delhi-Jammu Tawi superfast special train, which started from April 18, and will operate till May five, will stop at Panipat, Ambala, Ludhiana, Jallandhar Cantt and Chakki Bank stations enroute in both the directions.

The 0425/0426 Delhi- Rae Bareli Special train, to operate till July one, will stop at Lucknow, Tilhar, Bareilly, Moradabad, Hapur and Ghaziabad stations enroute in both the directions while the New Delhi -Guwahati Summer Special, to run till May 18, will stop at New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Patna, Allahabad and Kanpur stations enroute in both the directions.

The Dehradun-Kathgodam special train, to run till July one, will stop at Haldwani, Lalkuan, Rudrapur City, Bilaspur Road, Rampur Jn., Moradabad, Dhampur, Nazibabad, Laksar and Haridwar stations enroute in both the directions while the New Delhi-Howrah Superfast Tri Weekly, to run from May one to June 16, will stop at Asansol, Dhanbad, Koderama, Gaya, Mughalsarai, Allahabad and Kanpur stations enroute in both the directions.

Special trains are also being run from Varanasi and Ahmedabad.

People, who may not get accomodation in regular trains, can avail these services, the release added.
