Seven persons arrested in group clash

Mumbai, Apr 28 (UNI) City police has arrested seven persons following a clash between two groups at Vakola, Santacruz in western suburbs late last night.

Police said that two groups at Vakola clashed over an argument over a petty issue. Members of both the groups manhandled each other, after one Gunny objected to a member of the other group for standing infront of a particular an apartment building.

Police has arrested Vinod Yadav (18), Sunil Singh (30), Vikas Singh (25) belonging to one group and Darpan Jadhav (18), Samir Maral (23), A A Mahadik (34) and Pramod Gurav (24) belonging to the other group.

The others connected in clash include Gunny (20), Prinsu (20), Kartar singh, Santosh Singh, Harish singh, Parshuram Jadhav, Vijay Jadhav, Koitya are absconding.

Police has registered a case of rioting and unlawfull assembly against them.
