RSWM net profit for 2005-06 up by 28 per cent
New Delhi, Apr 28: Bhilwara based Rajasthan Spinning and Weaving Mills Ltd (RSWM), has announced a 28 per cent increase in its net profit of at Rs 27 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 as against Rs 21 crore in the previous year.
The company registered a growth of 31 per cent in its net sales to Rs 960 crore from Rs 734 over the same financial. Operating profits during the year registered a growth of 48 per cent to Rs 100 crore.
Profit Before Tax (PBT) was up by 65 per cent at Rs 39 crore as compared to Rs 24 crore last year. Profit Before Interest, Depreciation and Tax (PBDIT) for the year, valued at Rs 100 crore, increased by 48 per cent as against Rs 68 crore last year.
The net profits for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 was reported to be up by 13.5 per cent at Rs 13.21 crore as compared to Rs 11.43 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company registered a jump of 50 per cent in its operating profit for the last quarter to Rs 35 crore as compared to Rs 23.5 crore last year.
The net sales for the fourth quarter increased by 45 per cent to Rs 284 crore.
