Rajnath criticises UPA for failure on all fronts
Shimla, Apr 28 (UNI) BJP Chief Rajnath Singh today criticised the UPA Government for its failure to control the rising prices of essential commodities, containing terrorism, failure to maintain law and order and succumbing to US pressure on the nuclear issue.
Addressing public meetings at Baijnath and Mandi, he said the previous NDA government had controlled the prices of essential commodities and controlled inflation, while accelerating the pace of development in the country.
Mr Singh said it also never bowed down under the American pressure, unlike the present regime that was already on its knees on the nuclear issue.
Referring to the divisive forces of terrorism and naxalism in the country, he said the Central government was not crushing them under pressure from the Left parties.
Expressing surprise that the 42-year Congress rule had failed to make India one of the developed countries, he said this was unlike Japan, which was virtually ruined during the Second World War and made tremendous progress after it.
