Mumbai, April 28: Procter&Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 26.54 crore for the January-March quarter, as compared to Rs 14.66 crore in the comparable quarter of the previous year, a jump of 81 per cent.
Announcing the results today, the company said its total income for the third quarter was Rs 124 crore rupees as against Rs 175 crore in the similar quarter a year ago.
The figures were not strictly comparable because it had exited from its detergent business, the company said.
