President arrives in Mount Abu

Jaipur, Apr 28 (UNI) President APJ Abdul Kalam arrived in Mount Abu from Ahmedabad for his two-hour trip today.

The President will be attending a special function at the Brahmakumari Ashram in Mount Abu today. The Ashram is celebrating its 70 years of inception this year.

He was welcomed by the state forest minister Laxmi Narayan Dave on his arrival by a helicopter. He met the Brahmakumaris and also inaugurated a health project in the ashram.

The President will return to Ahmedabad from where he is expected to fly to Delhi.

Security arrangements have been beefed up in Mount Abu in view of the President's visit.
