ORG's net profit up by 215 % at Rs 8.61 crore

New Delhi, Apr 28 (UNI) ORG Informatics Ltd (ORG), leading IT and telecom system generator, today recorded a 215 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 8.61 crore for the year ending 2006, as against Rs 2.73 crore for the corresponding period last year.

ORG posted a revenue growth of 84 per cent at Rs 157.86 crore in 2005-06 as opposed to Rs 85.69 crore in the same period last year.

''ORG's strong results were due to a strong operational performance in all markets and continued delivery of the group's extensive development programme during the year,'' ORG Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Ajay Khandheria said.

ORG's subsidiary, ORG Telecom Ltd, recorded a 503 per cent increase in revenues at Rs 36.06 crore in 2005-06 as against Rs 5.98 crore in the corresponding period last year.

ORG deals in Value Added Services, Billing and OSS, Satellite Communication, Telecom and IT infrastructure services.
