NCDEX records trade worth Rs 5,168 cr

Mumbai, Apr 28 (UNI) As many as 570 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 5,168 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 1,09,050 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseeds, chana, silver, gold, wheat and refined soy oil, a NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, about 638 members had participated in trading and put through more than 1,16,570 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2330 hrs was Rs 5,854 crore (one way).

Active trades were in guarseed, silver, gold, wheat, guargum, and chana, the release added.
