Moser Baer Q4 net down 98.57 pc

Mumbai, April 28 (UNI) Moser Baer India Ltd has posted 98.57 percent decline in net profit to Rs 3.49 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 245.24 million for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The company said its total income has increased by 26.72 per cent to Rs 5218.89 million for Q4 FY 05-06 from Rs 4118.21 million in Q4 FY 04-05.

The company has posted 90.87 per cent decrease in net profit to Rs 53.29 million for the year ended March 31 as compared to Rs 583.78 million for the corresponding period previous year.

Total income has increased by 28.45 per cent to Rs 17251.30 million for FY 05-06 from Rs 13430.25 million in FY 04-05.

Medium term Revenue Guidance issued by the company continues to expect a three year CAGR of 25-35 per cent in its revenues. Most of the growth in revenues is expected to come from the DVD segment and roll-out of next generation technology formats.
