MCD effects transfers of two DCs, three new DCs appointed

New Delhi, Apr 28 (UNI) In a major reshuffle, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi today relieved deputy commissioners of two zones from their respective posts.

While the Deputy commissioner (south) Ajay Kumar has been relieved of his post and sent back to his original department, civil lines DC Ashok Kumar was relieved from the MCD.

At the same time, it appointed three officers of the Union territory civil services (UTCS) to the post of DCs of its three zones.

UTCS officer R N Mangla has been appointed DC for the Karol Bagh zone and the city zone DC A K Sangla relieved from his additional responsibility as DC of Karol Bagh zone. Another UTCS officer S K Bhandari has been appointed the DC for South Zone in place of incumbent Ajay Kumar while Mr P K Panda, UTCS officer of 91 batch has been appointed the DC for the civil lines area.
