Left parties submits memorendum to the governor
Ranchi, Apr 28 (UNI) A left party delegation today met Jharkhand Governor Syed Shibtey Razi and submitted a memorandum alleging that prices of petroleum products, including diesel and LPG, were increasing following introduction of Value Added Tax (VAT) in the state.
They also said it had affected druggists in the state.
Representatives of CPI (M), CPI and Forward Bloc were in the delegation.
A state Congress party delegation headed by AICC secretary Eqbal Singh also met the governor separately and submitted a memorandum alleging that the implementation of centrally sponsored schemes for the development of rural population was very slow in the state.
They also requested the governor to take necessary steps to solve naxalite problem in the state.
