Kalam to address J K assembly session in august

Jammu Apr 28 (UNI) President Dr A P J Kalam will address the Jammu and Kashmir state lagislature during its session at Srinagar in the month of august.

According to an official release, the president has accepted the invitation to this effect extended by Chief Minister Ghulam Nabu Azad, requesting him to address state legislature.

Mr Azad extended the invitation when Dr Kalam interacted with him while inaugrating ISRO satellite connection to J K today. The function of connecting the state throgh ISRO satellite communication was held at government medical college for women at Gandhi Nagar here.

According to release the president complimented the government for efficiently handling the situation in the state which has paved way for taking the state towards development and progress. He said that god has bestowed upon the state with charming beauty and rich human resource.
