Israel-India League wishes Mahajan speedy recovery

Mumbai, Apr 28 (UNI) Israel-India Parliamentary Friendship League has wished for speedy recovery of senior BJP Pramod Mahajan, who is battling for life in the Hinduja hospital here since April 22.

Mr Mahajan is Vice-President of the League, which is known as India-Israel Parliamentary Friendship Association in the country.

League Chairman Ronnie Bar-On, in a signed letter of April 27 sent from Jerusalem, said ''I and my colleagues in the Association were shocked and saddened to learn of your recent injuries. Please accept our sincere wishes for your speedy and total recovery.'' The letter, delivered today to the Mahajans in the hospital by city-based Israel Consul General Daniel Zohar-Zonshine, further said '' We all look forward to continuing to cooperate with you and your colleagues to promote freindship and Parliamentary cooperation between our two countries .'' The Consul General had earlier also come to the hospital to enquire about his health.

Meanwhile, a Brazilian delegation also visited the BJP leader at hospital, Mr Mahajan's personal assistant Vivek Mitra said.
