G P Koirala's swearing in deferred to 1100 hrs
Kathmandu, Apr 28: The swearing in ceremony of Mr Girija Prasad Koirala as the Prime Minister of Nepal, today, has been postponed for one and a half hours, official sources said.
The octogenarian leader, who was to be sworn in by King Gyanendra at the Narayanhity Palace at 0930 hrs local time, would now be sworn in at 1100 hrs.
Meanwhile, sources said the condition of Mr Koirala, who was ailing and could not attend yesterday's mass rally because of ill health, was now much better.
Mr Koirala was appointed as the Prime Minister last evening.
