Amandeep placed tied sixth; Shiv Kapur misses the cut
Seoul, Apr 28 (UNI) Seasoned Amandeep Johl, placed at tied sixth spot, led the Indian challenge and made the cut comfortably alongside Rahil Gangjee and Gaurav Ghei while Shiv Kapur and Harmeet Kahlon fell by the way side after the second round of the 600,000 dollar GS Caltex Maekyung Open here today.
Chandigarh-pro Amandeep played consecutive three-under 69 card thus aggregating six under 138 and was five shots off the pace.
Korean Lee Sung was sitting at the top of the heap with 11 under 133.
Rahil Gangjee, with a second round of two under 70, was at tied 21st while Gaurav Ghei returned an indentical card to be placed tied 32nd spot.
Meanwhile, Shiv Kapur fared better today, but his one under 71 in the second round proved too little too late and the Asian Tour Rookie of 2005 could not make up for his horrendous opening round of four-over 76.
Harmeet Kahlon also made exit after two over 74 today. He aggregated three over 147.
