Volcker Report: Term of Justice Pathak panel extended

New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) The Government today extended by three months the term of Justice RS Pathak Committee Inquiry Authority going into the Volcker Findings in the Iraqi Oil for Food scam.

The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting here this evening.

The Inquiry Authority was constituted in November last with a six month term to probe the references in the Volcker Report which had named former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh and the Congress party as non-contractual beneficieries.
