Tigress found dead at Kanha
Mandla, MP, Apr 27 (UNI) A four-year-old tigress was found dead near Mahua Upri Camp in the Kanha National Park's ''highly-guarded'' Kareewah Circle Post mortem took place yesterday on the carcass found on April 24.
Kanha Forest Conservator and Field Director K Nayak, while giving a brief statement over telephone, admitted the likelihood of poisoning.
This is the second case of tigress dying under unnatural circumstanes in earlier a tigress was found dead in mysterious circumstances on the park's Street 9.
