Spray of DDT for controlling 'Kalazar' disease
Patna, Apr 27 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said that DDT will be sprayed in 'Kalazar' affected areas in the state from the first week of May.
Mr Kumar told newspersons here two types of medicines were used for curing this disease adding that the government had purchased these medicines from open market in sufficient quantity.
He said medicies were also made available by the Centre.
The Chief Minister said the Panchayat election had been postponed due to unavailibility of adequate number of police forces.
He said the central para-military forces would be available to the state after assembly elections were over in certain states.
