SAD (Amritsar) to show black flags to Rajnath's yatra

Jalandhar, Apr 27 (UNI) The Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) has decided to show black flags to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh's Rastriya Surakshya Yatra when it will pass through Punjab on May four and five.

A party spokesman said here today that the party felt the yatra is part of the Hindutva card of the Sangh Parivar and might encourage communalism in the state.

He said party workers had been directed to hold peaceful demonstrations and wave black flags on arrival of the yatra in their area.
