Rajasthan govt to forfeit controversial book

Jaipur, Apr 27 (UNI) The Rajasthan government has decided to forfeit the controversial book titled 'Ve Sharm Se Hindu Kehte Hain Kyon' as it allegedly insults the feelings of a particular community with ''deliberate and malicious intention.'' As per the notification issued by the state government, the book, its copies, reprints, translation and other documents containing its extracts will be forfeited and its publication will be punishable under Section 153A and 295A of Indian Penal Code.

The book has been written by Sohan Lal Singaria and has been published by Rajasthani Granthagar Jodhpur.
