Nepali Congress communicates Koirala's election to King

Kathmandu, Apr 27 (UNI) Clearing the way for Mr Girija Prasad Koirala to take over as the Prime Minister, the Nepali Congress today sent official communication to King Gyanendra about his election as Legislature Party Leader.

Mr Koirala was today elected unanimously to the post at the meeting of the legislature party presided over by general secretary Sushil Koirala at the Singh Darbar complex.

People have urged Mr G P Koirala to take oath in public.
