NCDEX records trade worth Rs 4,870 cr

Mumbai, Apr 27: As many as 567 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 4,870 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 1,03,400 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseeds, chana, silver, gold, wheat and guargum, a NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, about 736 members had participated in trading and put through more than 92,060 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2330 hrs was Rs 4,181 crore (one way).

Active trades were in guarseed, silver, gold, wheat, chilli, and chana, the release added.
