Minor raped, murdered in North Bengal

Balurghat, Apr 27 (UNI) Three people were arrested today for allegedly gang raping and killing a 10-year-old girl in South Dinajpur district last night.

Police said Krishna Mali, whose body was recoverd today, was murdered after being gang raped in the premises of an abandoned hospital's outdoor in Balurghat.

The girl was a student of class II of Gitanjali primary school.

Inspector-in-charge Dharmadas Banerjee said they were still looking some more persons involved in the crime.

The victim's father Nirmal Mali said Krishna had gone to play with her friend but did not return home. Some local people, who noticed the body this monring, immediately reported the matter to the police.
