Maoist blow up house by exploding dynamite

Daltanganj, Apr 27 (UNI) Proscribed Maoist extremists blew up a house by blasting a dynamite at Charchow village in Palamu district late last night, Superintendent of Police Udayan Kumar Singh said.

The ultras also torched a tractor.

Mr Singh said about three hundred Naxalites surrounded the village and searched for one Chanu Singh, the relative of the house's owner Pradeep Singh.

When the family members of Pradeep Singh did not disclose Chanu's whereabouts, the miscreants blew up the house by blasting the dynamite.

No one was injured in the explosion, he added.
